After graduating from University, Tim spent eight years living in Auckland with the last five of those spent as an Underwriter for an international insurance company. Since moving back to Invercargill in 2011, Tim has been a Broker with Insurance Brokers Alliance, specialising in Commercial Insurance, Corporate Insurance, and is Insurance Brokers Alliance's General Manager.

When joining Insurance Brokers Alliance in 2004 Paul had spent the last 20 years working in various roles within the insurance industry, from State Insurance, Norwich, Circle and NZI. Paul has used this extensive knowledge to assist his large and varied client base, from SME’s through to Large Corporates. Paul is passionate about ensuring clients insurance needs are met.

Claire has a real passion for insurance and finding the best solution for her clients. She started out in insurance in the late 1970's, working in various insurance roles. Claire joined the team at Insurance Brokers Alliance in 2000 and has been an integral part ever since. Claire has a vast experience in Corporate and Commercial clients.

Rachael is a passionate born and bred Southlander, having grown up on a farm just outside of Invercargill. Rachael studied at Telford before transitioning into tourism where she became a qualified deck hand and reservations manager. Rachael started with Insurance Brokers Alliance in 2012 and has been an integral part of the team ever since. Rachael has vast experience from Domestic and Rural Insurance through to SME and Commercial Insurance.

Sam joined the team at Insurance Brokers Alliance in 2021. After graduating from University with a Bachelor of Commerce Sam spent over 10 years working in the public sector in Wellington in advisory and customer service roles. Sam looks after both commercial and domestic clients. Moving with his young family to Invercargill in 2018 Sam has immersed himself in the local community playing cricket, football and enjoying Southland's great outdoors.

Grace joined Insurance Brokers Alliance Ltd in 2021 in the Invercargill office, after being in the insurance industry for 13 years in South Africa before moving to New Zealand with her family and making Invercargill their home in 2017. She enjoys assisting clients with their life and health insurance needs and is always looking at providing the best insurance solutions.

Elvira started her insurance career in 1991 working as a broker in Fiji through until 2009. During this time she gained extensive experience in Domestic, Farm and Commercial insurances, whilst also managing claims for her clients. When Elvira, her husband Joe, and their three children moved to New Zealand she wanted to continue her insurance career and found a home with Insurance Brokers Alliance Ltd in 2010 where Elvira has used her extensive experience from Fiji to assist our clients here in New Zealand.

Gore
Our BrokerPaul joined Insurance Brokers Alliance Ltd in 2002 after working for 15 years with New Zealand Insurance, including the role of Branch Manager in Gore. This brought about the forming of Insurance Brokers Alliance (Gore) Ltd which operates out of the current premises at 108 Main Street in Gore. Along with Arlene Duffy, the Gore Office caters for all insurance needs with an emphasis on Rural, Commercial and Domestic Insurance Products.

Bronwyn joined our Balclutha office in 2017 where she is the branch manager. Bronwyn has ten years experience in the insurance industry looking after the insurances for commercial, rural and corporate clients.

Our Brokers
Helen joined our Dunedin team in 2020, as Branch Manager and Broker. Helen has spent the last 17 years working in various roles within the insurance industry, including domestic claims, commercial sales and risk assessment/underwriting. Her expertise is in Fleet and Heavy Motor, Property and Liability. Solution focused, Helen brings a wealth of knowledge and is a great resource for clients reviewing their risk management, and looking for insurance and claims solutions.

Sharon joined our Dunedin Team in 2022 as a Broker. Sharon has been working in business operations and the finance sector for close to 20 years; the last 10 of those in Banking. This depth of experience brings essential skills needed to the Team, and our clients, as we all navigate through change.
Building on existing domestic insurance experience, Sharon will also be stepping into the rural and commercial insurance space. As a seventh-generation Otagoan, Sharon understands the local economy and the needs of our clients, for whom she enjoys finding solutions and advocating. |
